Types of Articles

IJIME would typically accept a variety of manuscript types, each serving different research and informational purposes:

• Research Articles: Detailed studies reporting original research, typically accompanied by rigorous methodologies, data analysis, and substantial results.
• Review Articles: Comprehensive overviews of specific topics within the scope of the journal, critiquing current research, and suggesting future directions.
• Short Communications: Brief reports of data from original research, preliminary findings, or innovative engineering solutions.
• Technical Notes: Descriptions of new techniques, procedures, or findings that are not full articles but are of significant interest.
• Case Studies: In-depth analysis of specific projects or practical engineering problems and solutions.
• Editorials: Insights or commentary from the editorial board or invited guest editors on current trends and future challenges in mechanical engineering.
